About Us

Paws and Affection is a nonprofit organization focused on the mission to train and place service, facility, and companion dogs with young people who have a range of disabilities in the greater Philadelphia area and to educate the public about service dogs and their role in the community. We believe in positive training and train dogs that not only perform tasks, but also offer emotional and social support to our recipients. The myriad of skills and the collaboration between our founder and our trainer put us in a position to train amazing dogs that can be matched with our fantastic recipients.
