To meet our dogs and support their training check out our upcoming events!
Our mission at Paws and Affection is to train service, facility, and companion dogs for young people with a range of disabilities in the Philadelphia area. Meet Violet, Maggie, Louie, and Totie Joy – the dogs that make it all possible! Our amazing team of service dogs train for two years and – based off how their best suited – become diabetic alert dogs, psychiatric assistance dogs, mobility support dogs, facility dogs for schools and organizations, or companions dogs for young people who need help around the house.
We are so happy to announce that we are expanding our program and kicking off the new year with two new additions to the team! These two sweet black labs are joining the P&A team on Friday and we couldn’t be happier to have them! These girls will train for two years and ultimately be placed with a child in our community.
If you’d like to support our new puppies and take part in their journey, consider becoming a Naming Donor and choose the name they will carry with them throughout life. Email Laura at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, January 12th to get started.
